Ravi Todi, Managing Director, Shrachi Group which is into Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), Real Estate Development, Agro Machinery and Manufacturing of Paper and Stationery believes in innovation and “out of the box” thinking. The turnover of the organization gradually grew in numbers. Now the present turnover of the Group Company is over 1000 Crores.

Mr Todi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and has attended the module of “Maximizing Your Leadership Potential” of Harvard Business School.

He is currently pursuing a Diploma at Harvard Business School, Boston  on Owner/President Management Program (OPM).

BTL EPC LTD (Agro) today is among the 4 leading manufacturers and distributors of 15 HP and 18 HP power tiller, power weeders, power reapers, brush cutters and garden tools. BTL has also recently ventured into manufacturing Aerobic Bio Toilets and is one of the leaders in this segment.

With Real Estate projects spread over 15 million sq. ft, Shrachi has got his undisputed leadership for development of the most prominent residential, commercial and retail projects in Eastern India. Restello, first residential steel building in Kolkata, Renaissance Township in Burdwan spread over 200 acres offering Bungalows, Twin Houses, Hi-rise apartments along with club, school, market and hospital and Synthesis Business park, IGBC certified commercial green building are significant achievements among many. Shrachi Realty is also one of the joint venture partners of  South City and Urbana projects.

Brijlaxmi Paper Products, the youngest organization of Shrachi Group is mainly engaged in the manufacturing of an entire range of paper products and stationery for students and for corporate executives with brand name of My Companion, My Companion Plus, SWOT.

Not only business, Ravi’s interests are Reading, Travelling, Socialising and playing Cricket and Football. Mr. Todi is always keen on startups in various industries.

He is actively involved with different professional bodies in India – holding important positions both locally and nationally at various junctures.

A scion of well known Bachhawat family of Kolkata and born in 1956 Sri Bachhawat graduated in commerce from the University of Kolkata.

With an early induction in family business Sri Bachhawat is presently heading the J. B. Group which is one of the most promising Groups of Eastern India in the sphere of financial services. He has been instrumental in diversification of the Group onto tea plantation, real estate, leasing and renting amongst many other misc. business activities.

Sri Bachhawat is member of The Calcutta Stock Exchange Association and effectively serving the top corporate houses for the last decade to their entire satisfaction. He is also a very prominent Member of the Merchant Chamber of Commerce and contributing his mite towards framing of the policies of the Chamber regarding trade and commerce generally.

Sri Bachhawat is Executive Director of The Eastern Tea Company Ltd. – a company acquired by the Group four years ago, with a sick garden viz. Kalabari Tea Estate. Mention must be made of Sri Bachhawat for the credible performance for nursing back the garden to health and turning around this sick garden.

Sri Bachhawat is actively associated as a Director, with Bengal N. R. I. Complex Ltd. – a joint sector company with Government of  West Bengal – having an ambitious plan of constructing Housing Complex encompassing Commercial, Residential, Multiplex and Shopping Mall, etc. on a sprawling area of 200 Bighas of land on E. M Bye Pass, Kolkata.

Sri Bachhawat is a Director of Mangalam Fashions Ltd. and for his foresight ness the massive elegant shopping complex that has come up at 22 Camac Street is presently a landmark in Kolkata which proudly houses “PANTALOON” and Tata’s “WEST SIDE” amongst other Corporate Hoses of repute. The panoramic view of this Multiplex entity is the word of the town.

Sri Bachhawat has been an endearing force behind the Deeplok Financial Services Ltd. – a NBFC – which he steered to prominence of an investing arm of J. B. Group dealing in Investments and Financing.

Sri Bachhawat’s deep involvement in running day to day business affairs of the Group asides; he finds time and devotes himself  to religious work associated with well being of Jain Terapanthi Samaj. His generous contributions  for charitable purposes is well recognized by the society.

Sri Bachhawat takes active interest in social activities and has been associated with numerous social and cultural organizations in different capacities extending support, in a humble way, for upliftment of the socio economic conditions of downtrodden.

Sri Bachhawat is an ardent Rotarian and takes keen interest in all round activities of Rotary Club of Kolkata.

Sri Bachhawat is great lover of Sports and takes interest in swimming and Lawn Tennis.
